United Fishermen of Alaska announces changes to its Executive Committee, effective Friday April 15. UFA’s officers remain unchanged as Jerry McCune will continue to serve as UFA President, joined by Matt Alward as Vice President and Chad See as Secretary.

United Fishermen of Alaska (UFA) today announced its endorsement of Senator Lisa Murkowski for the United States Senate. UFA is a statewide organization representing 34 commercial fishing associations and hundreds of independent commercial fishermen from fisheries throughout the state and its offshore federal waters. The group made the endorsement at its annual Spring meeting in February.

United Fishermen of Alaska is pleased to announce the election of Ms. Lindsey Bloom, Mr. Zachary Hill, Mr. Bruce Schactler, and Mr. Paul A. Shadura II as at-large board members. UFA’s individual and lifetime members elect four at-large directors to represent the more than 400 individual, lifetime, and crew members on the organization’s board of directors. The at-large directors will serve two-year terms beginning June 15, 2015 and ending April 14, 2017.
