Dates & Deadlines for the November 8, 2016 General Election
October 9: Last day to update voter registration or to register to vote in the general election
October 24: Early, absentee in-person, special needs, and electronic submission voting begins
October 29: Deadline for absentee ballot applications requesting by-mail ballots to be received
November 7: Deadline for absentee ballot applications requesting electronic transmission ballots to be received
November 8:GENERAL ELECTION DAY – Absentee by-mail ballots must be postmarked on or before this date, and electronic transmission ballots must be received by 8 p.m. AST
